Continuing our fashion guide for fall weddings, let’s talk about a very important detail: Staying warm on your big day (and night!)
While covering up that perfect gown you dreamed of for years might sound like the last thing you want to do, it’s important to remember that the evenings are getting chillier and chillier at this time of year. You don’t want your “something blue” to be your freezing cold skin. But in the flurry of picking out shoes, jewelry, a veil, and complementing makeup and hair, you might forget to spend a little time finding a wrap or jacket.
The key here is to find something that keeps you warm but still looks elegant and feels appropriate with your dress. You don’t want to get stuck throwing on an old trench coat or the zip-up bride hoodie you wore for your hair appointment! A few pretty options: A light neutral wrap for an early fall wedding, a cozier fur (or faux fur, if you prefer) jacket for later in the season when the temperatures drop even further, or even a sequined scarf for a touch of evening sparkle.
